A Beaumont woman has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for bank fraud.According to court documents, 38-year old Jeanie Marie Smith Henges devised ascheme to fraudulently obtain funds from seven area banks or credit unions. She presented fraudulent checks for deposit. According to the seven count indictment, the intended losses amounted more than $72,000. The actual losses amounted more than $32,000. Henges pleaded guilty to the charges this past November and was sentenced yesterday.
